60kW AC roof mounted solar array with 96kW DC of solar modules. Due to the orientation of the building the solar modules were mounted on both the east and west faces of the barn roof to maximize production as the sun moves across the sky during the day. This system is connected to the local electrical grid with a net-metered contract where any power that is not consumed by the farm is sent to the grid and credited to the Hydro account. This system is sized to the maximum that Hydro One would allow with the constraints of the local grid with the DC sized to the maximum of the AC inverters to generate as much power as possible.
